Red & Turquoise Western style blanket or throw.  This gorgeous, colorful blanket or couch throw is machine washable (cold, line dry). It reverses to a cream background. Made of a blend of alpaca and acrylic, it is light-weight, cozy, and easy to care for. The geometric designs are perfect for Southwest or Western decor. Made by native craftspeople of Otavalo, Ecuador, who have passed the techniques of fine textile creation from one generation to the next for centuries. Blanket option is queen sized and measures approx. 80″ x 90″.  Couch throw is 80″ x 45″.

Unlike sheep’s wool, these blankets from alpaca wool (fleece) are lightweight and not itchy!

Description

This Red & Turquoise Western style blanket will brighten your room! This rustic blanket has the classic red and turquoise colors of Southwest style.  It was crafted by native artisans high in the Andes in Ecuador.

Southwestern blankets are one of the hallmarks of southwest decor. This Western design bedroom bedding is lightweight and warm!

Can I wash this? Yes!  Our blankets are machine-washable, an easy care alpaca-acrylic blend.  Queen size is approx 80″ wide by 90″ long, throw measures 80″ x 45″.

All our products are made by native Ecuadorian crafters in Otavalo.  While we strive to depict products accurately, sometimes the image will vary slightly from the product you receive due to changes in yarn dye lots or photography lighting.
